Conflict vs Creation

I remember once offering some advice to a brother, “you can’t build you’re life on an ‘anti’”. That same phrase has been pinging around my brain ever since. It was one of those insights that flowed effortlessly without me understanding how much I needed to hear it.

So, more than 10 years later, I’ll open up this insight a little more and see how it’s planted itself into my psyche.

I guess first off, thought energy is some potent shit. we undervalue it in our society, or perhaps we just don’t understand how to harness it…whatever the case may be, there’s a long tradition of leaders harnessing thought-energy to a particular end.

Where you put your attention, energy flows.

Though, Word, & Deed is the way of conscious creating.

It’s the reason our attention is so valued by social media. What’s going on here? I mean, we all probably generally get the idea the advertising pays for this stuff…but why is so much technical & psychological expertise being channeled into these platforms.

Attention. There’s a screaming match, and who ever can hold the attention of the masses the longest, wins.

What do they win?

Power.

Because who ever can hold the attention of the masses is able to channel untold swathes of thought energy. And any thought energy that is not being consciously applied to personal self-actualization is up for grabs.

It’s a azazing what happens when we begin to consciously direct thought energy into our own dreams and visions for the future, instead of ones being handed out on silver platters. But you know what Long John Silver says about it…’Never trust a silver platter’.

Vadim Zeland has written a 5 part book that he calls Reality Transurfing. In it, he talks extensively about pendulums, and how each thought of body of thought is a pendulum. When living unconsciously, we tend to latch onto certain pendulums given the comfort or sense of beleonging it offers. But when we are chained & beholden to the swings of the pendulums, we are limited to experiencing the same things over and over. We are blind to our ability to step off a pendulum and onto another, giving us the ability to literally choose and different reality, choose a different way of experiencing something.

People don’t have ideas.

Ideas have people.

These pendulums have swarms of people attached to them, harnessing their thought energy for the purpose of achieving the goal of the pendulum. The pendulum doesn’t care whether you are ‘for’ or ‘against’ war. ‘for’ or ‘against’ CSG. nuclear energy. abortion. immigration. Trump. Biden….

Polarized thoughts are what keep us stuck in limiting patterns of experience and cognitive evolution.

Think about the way magnets work. The stronger the +/- charge, the stronger the pull it has towards balance. These keys are all around us, yet we continue to paint people as good & evil. We keep failing to see how the polarized thought is part of a greater whole.

I’m remembering the Parable of the Chinese Farmer, a Taoist storythat deals with this polarity. It goes like this…

A long time ago, a poor Chinese farmer lost a horse, and all the neighbors came around and said, “well that’s too bad.” The farmer said, “maybe.” Shortly after, the horse returned bringing another horse with him, and all the neighbors came around and said, “well that’s good fortune,” to which the farmer replied, “maybe.” The next day, the farmer’s son was trying to tame the new horse and fell, breaking his leg, and all the neighbors came around and said, “well that’s too bad,” and the farmer replied, “maybe.” Shortly after, the emperor declared war on a neighboring nation and ordered all able-bodied men to come fight—many died or were badly maimed, but the farmer’s son was unable to fight and spared due to his injury. And all the neighbors came around and said, “well that’s good fortune,” to which the farmer replied, “maybe.” And so the story goes.

Before we meander too far away from the original topic, let’s get back to pendulums. The tragic (for us in our unconscious creating) part of these pendulums, is that they don’t care what team we’re on. They don’t care, they gladly use positive or negative charge as ends to their means.

So, by claiming sovereignty over my thought-life, I then have the ability to step off a pendulum that is headed for an extreme and instead step onto one that is not swinging so violently and without so much excess potential careening off into oblivion.

So now, we turn to Creation. Creation is what begins to happen when we put conscious focus and awareness into what it is we are collectively desiring to experience.

With gratitude, we turn our hearts outward and rest in knowing that we are balancing the ferocious swinging of the pendulums.

We are free to choose our experience as we move through life.

We are free to create new economies and support systems for our communities.

We are free to align our daily actions with our highest values.

We are free to trust that others are on the same path of synthesizing homeostasis & transcendence.

The actions of others that appear polarized to mine are not a threat, but merely different means to the same end.

Use your thought energy carefully and open-heartedly.

Look to many of history’s creation stories…It’s either from unconscious byproduct of gods battling it out or conscious thought, word, and deed.

We may as well be conscious and loving about it. We’ll be more fulfilled by the result, I imagine.
