Elemental Formations

I was reflecting on my time with @elemental_formations and all the richness that it brought into my experience. There’s a few lessons that still ring prominently in my knoggin.

I learned, to a greater degree, how to bring my heart into my work. Much of the ethos that we cultivated and embodied was inspired action, that fire that propels one into a task, rendering it easy and full of meaning. What once seemed challenging and pointless was transmuted into mere steps along the path to our higher goals.

I still wrestle with this from time to time, but EF provided a container to help ease the death-grip I had on life. All those thing I thought ‘should be’. All those terrible things that cause so much anxiety and pressure. It’s all just part of the experience. As I press into one polarity, I’m offered the opposite to test my reaction. Am I going to let my emotional state be dictated to by these things I perceive happening, or am I the master of my self?

Everything is my fault. I grew up looking for ways to dodge responsibility, someone to blame for why my life isn’t the way I think it should be. Choosing to resonate on the opposite polarity helped me to take responsibility for the reality that I am creating.
