“We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
Through the unknown, remembered gate
When the last of earth left to discover
Is that which was the beginning…
T. S. Eliot
What a wonderful feeling, when things begin to click into place in new ways. I’ve long been fascinated with the practice of alchemy in refining one’s soul, and I’ve been able to clearly identify where I am in the 7-stage process of alchemical transformation. For a long time, I’ve been looking for a map, a set of guiding principles that can help to illuminate the steps in front of me in times where my own vision is clouded with the stresses that accompany living in this meat sack. I’ve found a wonderful map, and also my current place on the map, and am excited to journey using this map. Firstly, to see how comprehensive the knowledge is, how much additional layers of insight I’ll need to layer in order to accommodate my particular make-up,…but also to alleviate some of the thought energy that gets spent in getting one’s bearings on a regular basis. Salt, mercury, and sulfur. Fire, water, air, and earth. Sun & moon. These are the keys to the legend.
